The Service
Pause For You' On-Site Massage Service is a well established service, allowing everyone access to the benefits of 'positive touch' in the form of Massage or Reiki energy healing. Corporate clients are seen either in the work[place, at conferences,/ organised events or at other locations. Private clients are usually treated at Caroles treatment area in Ashfield.
Carole Griffiths started' Pause For You' in July 2002. Carole qualified as a registered nurse in 1981 and continued to work in the NHS until 1992 after which she joined the commercial world of medical sales until 2002.
Carole took up transcendental meditation in 1982, completed an intensive course in therapeutic massage during 1991 and became interested in different forms of alternative medicine and treatments. She qualified as an Advanced Reiki Practitioner during 2000.
Leaving the high stress/ pressure world of sales Carole decided to go back to the reasons and values which took her into nursing, helping/enabling people to heal using POSITIVE touch and the bodies own healing abilities rather than drugs. To do this she trained as an Acupressure Chair Massage Practitioner with the world’s leading training company “TouchPro”. Followed by a diploma in Acupressure treatment in 2003. Carole continues to learn different more effective techniques to help her patients. In 2007 she qualified in Thought Field Therapy which uses both acupressure points and knowledge and experience of psychology. Caroles work ranges from large IT companies, conferences, staff in an NHS trust, through to private clients.
